We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Infrastructure Energy team initially in our Head Office in Watford.
What you'll do: - Be able to set tender strategies identifying win themes .
- Be able to produce preliminaries estimate and assess staffing levels for projects for commercial and production staff
- Have an objective view on programme period and critical path activities.
- Be able to assist with Skanska governance processes
- Set a commercial strategy that sets challenging financial targets that achieve the best case gross project margin. (Outperform Targets). Be able to articulate how these targets have been assessed and how they can be achieved.
- Set strategy for overcoming issues and implement.
- Understand the impact of variations on critical path.
- Assess EOT entitlement for Skanska and assess objectively sub contractor EOT entitlement
What you'll bring to the role: - Experience working on large projects £200m+.
- Good working knowledge of contract/commercial law
- Experience with NEC forms of contract
- MRICS or CICES desirable
- Degree or equivalent in commercial related subject
