Role Purpose: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sustainability Reporting and Analytics Manager to lead the development and implementation of sustainability analytics in support of our Corporation's sustainability reporting. This role involves managing sustainability data requirements and processes, and supporting the delivery of global sustainability reporting requirements in alignment with the Global Sustainability Reporting Framework.
Principal Accountabilities:Sustainability Measurement:- Manage carbon measurement and accounting, ensuring the design and technical accuracy of methodologies for carbon disclosure.
- Lead the strategic design of a sustainability measurement framework in collaboration with the Head of Sustainability and Sustainability Reporting Manager.
- Identify and integrate appropriate sustainability data sources into the Corporation and wider market.
- Act as a technical specialist for data processes supporting sustainability measurement and reporting.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders to embed sustainability measurement into reporting.
- Support the selection and assessment of data tools and platforms.
- Manage relevant APIs for technology platforms related to sustainability measurement and reporting.
- Collaborate with Finance and Data teams to embed sustainability measurement into the wider data ecosystem.
Sustainability Analytics:- Develop and provide recommendations on key sustainability metrics, monitoring and tracking these over time.
- Own data processes feeding into sustainability analytics, ensuring alignment with Lloyd's data processes.
- Maintain oversight of emerging advances in sustainability data and climate change modelling.
- Partner with the Markets team to ensure alignment in sustainability metrics and reporting.
- Lead validation and analysis of third-party data systems, establishing rating criteria.
- Contribute to wider sustainability and reporting initiatives.
Corporation Reporting:- Manage data processes feeding into key Corporation reporting, including the Lloyd's Sustainability Report.
- Oversee data delivery into sustainability reporting and design validation processes for consistency.
- Support improvements in capturing sustainability data and producing data exhibits and visualisations.
- Assist in calculating climate change risk appetite for reporting to the Council and Risk Committee.
Carbon Emissions Accounting:- Develop and monitor processes for calculating and measuring carbon emissions across all scopes.
- Design and deliver a carbon emissions measurement approach for the Corporation.
- Provide strategic and technical advice on carbon measurement across investments, supply chain, and operations.
- Develop a carbon-offset strategy in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Market Oversight and Leadership:- Develop strategies for data analysis supporting market sustainability strategies.
- Identify improvements in market sustainability processes and produce ESG data guidance.
