This role requires a collaborative leader who can work with decentralized teams and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Key Responsibilities: - Support SHE Programs: Assist in the design and execution of SHE programs tailored to field service operations.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure field activities comply with local, national, and international SHE regulations. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits
- Training and Development: Provide training and resources to field service teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Incident Management: Assist in investigations into SHE incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report SHE performance metrics.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with field service Ops managers, clients, regulatory bodies, and divisional teams to ensure SHE standards are met.
- Emergency Response: Support the development and maintenance of emergency response plans for field operations.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Promote sustainability initiatives within field operations to minimize environmental impact.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience: - Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of SHE management experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a field service or similar environment.
- Relevant SHE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SHE regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Scope of the Job: - Geographical Scope: The role is regional in scope, overseeing SHE programs within specific regions
- Interaction Skills: Requires excellent interaction skills to collaborate with decentralized teams, field service operations managers, clients, regulatory bodies, and divisional teams.
- Internal and External Factors: Align with the company's vision and goals, support regional strategies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in SHE practices.
- Pattern of Work Cycle: Involves planning, priority setting, and coordinating SHE programs, leading projects, and conducting risk assessments and audits.
- Money Measures: Responsible for managing an annual budget related to SHE programs.
- Travel Requirements: Moderate travel is expected, with a 30-50% split between travel and office-based duties.
- People: Oversee and support Regional SHE Managers, ensuring consistent application of SHE policies and practices across regions
