Job Description As part of our team, you will provide world-class energy management services to high-profile clients, covering their portfolios across multiple sites in the UK.
You will work for a leading Facilities Management provider, managing both owned and sub-let premises.
As an Account Energy Manager, you will operate regionally across client sites, taking a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of year-on-year energy savings to meet our client's ambitious energy and carbon reduction targets.

Key Responsibilities - Ensure the effective management of energy resources to meet ISS's and client's objectives and targets.
- Identify, develop, and support the implementation of new energy-related opportunities.
- Carry out all energy-related tasks to ensure service provision and compliance.
- Inform, motivate, and train colleagues and customer organisations in good energy management practices.
- Maintain a good understanding of the energy requirements (legal, statutory, and technical issues) which affect the client's business.
- Promote energy efficiency and provide advice and support for the development of energy-efficient practices.
- Undertake energy surveys in a range of customer premises (offices, manufacturing facilities, and retail).
- Work independently and as part of the wider Energy Management team to determine energy conservation measures (ECM's) with associated Return on Investment (ROI).
- Develop and advise on energy solutions, turning them into working projects.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications - Completion of a recognised degree or equivalent in energy, building services, or engineering (e.g., mechanical or electrical).
- Full UK Driving License.
- Experience in energy management or a similar engineering profession.
- A good understanding of the principal techniques and technologies supporting the efficient use of energy.
- Accreditation to a relevant industry body (e.g., CIBSE, EI, ASHRAE).
- Competency in current energy and utility benchmark techniques and statistical analysis.
- Understanding of energy metering principles to optimise data quality.
- Understanding of how energy markets work, the principles behind energy billing, and how energy savings translate into cost reduction.
- Working knowledge of energy M&T software.
- Understanding of the principles behind HVAC, refrigeration, and lighting operation and system design/integration.
