You will make an immediate impact in the planning, execution, and tracking of small change projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The work you do will make a real difference as it willimprove operational effectiveness and support the strategic objectives of the company.
How will I spend my time in this role? - Provide leadership and direction throughout the small change project process from planning through to operational handover and business acceptance to ensure the change project is delivered to time, cost, and quality;
- Creation and management of Project Artefacts and put measures in place to manage quality and track against progress;
- Management of obtaining required commercial prioritisations and approval from senior Stakeholders to schedule small change to align with strategic business need;
- Management of project resources and ensuring resource demand is planned in conjunction with PMO;
- Build relationships engaging with stakeholders across different functions to facilitate change and effectively manage stakeholder relationships;
- Proactively identify, manage, report, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies;
- Provide regular comprehensive Reporting to stakeholders about small change project status, risks, mitigations, dependencies, and progress;
- If necessary, Management of 3rd party vendors to ensure IT change is delivered to time, cost, and quality in conjunction with IT Vendor Manager;
- Ensures project and product quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure. Ensures that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are formally accepted, by appropriate stakeholders.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful? - Previous project management experience, ideally in an energy company.
