We are searching for an experienced Manager - ESG & Sustainability Services
Make an Impact at RSM UKConsulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM's current and future clients within the middle market and beyond. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.
At the heart of Consulting are the six solutions we offer our clients: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. Our solutions create an enhanced tailored approach to support our clients in achieving their strategic goals and empower our people to make an impact and develop their own unique career path.
RSM is seeing significant demand for its ESG consultancy services from across a wide range of the market. The firm has already invested significantly in its ESG and Sustainability Services team and we are now seeking to further enhance the team with the addition of a Manager. This role will help drive our aim to become the first-choice supplier to the middle market RSM wants to deepen our ESG services to meet demand and to fulfil larger projects in this space.
You'll make an impact by:
- Supporting ESG partners and directors to build the ESG and Sustainability Services service line
- Working with partners and directors to help win consulting projects
- Ensuring engagement profitability
- Delivering consulting engagements and in addition bring the business and commercial skills required for these projects to be successful.
- Having the opportunity to contribute both to winning work and service development will also be part of the role.
- Working as part of a diverse team and closely with clients, it's critical that you can establish trust and credibility and can quickly build effective relationships.
- Your focus will be on excellent client delivery, so you will need strong analytical skills and be an exceptional communicator, whatever the medium.

We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here's what we're looking for in our ideal candidate:
- A strong academic record: preferably with a sustainability oir business-focus and ideally to post-graduate level
- Significant experience within sustainability roles
- Significant experience of a combination of some of the following
- Sustainability Strategy, Governance, Risk Management and Performance Management
- ESG/Sustainability supply chain risk/opportunities
- Relevant reporting frameworks such as CSRD, TCFD etc
- Demonstrable project management and inter-personal skills
- MBA/MSC in an ESG/Sustainability subject/discipline or a relevant post graduate qualification, such as the CFA's certificate in ESG investing, or other leading accountancy or business advisory qualification.
