WoodworksWood Works offers awide range of supported learning opportunities in a well-equipped, commercial,workshop environment run by our experienced instructor. Working with woodprovides people with the opportunity to build skills using a variety of toolsand machinery. It can also support people in their recovery through enhancingconcentration, planning, and productivity. As peoples ability and creativitydevelop, they are able to help produce a range of products for the commercialmarket. With the support of the staff, people are able to worktowards achieving their vocational aspirations

Person Specification Experience Essential - Good levels of physical fitness and a practical person, you will be on your feet the majority of the day and some tasks will require stamina
- People who are happy volunteering in a workshop environment
- Basic knowledge /interest in woodwork
- Manual handling experience (not essential)
- Commitment to the ethos and values of DPT
- Adaptability, flexibility and creativity
- Good interpersonal skills and experience of working in a team
