We are looking for Volunteer Gardeners to join our Compton Volunteer Gardening Club. We need help with weeding, pruning and general maintenance of the gardens and borders. You would also help with new projects e.g. new areas or preparing the grounds for open days and other events. You may also help with lawn mowing and strimming, keeping our gardens at Compton beautiful.
It would be great if you have some knowledge and experience of basic gardening, but you will be part of a team who will support you as long as you are willing to get stuck in and get your hands dirty. Obviously it is outdoors so we can't always provide the best weather...........but we can assure a great sense of satisfaction especially when you see our patients and staff enjoying our gardens.
You will also keep active, make new friends or maybe pass on your skills to others.
We are happy to reimburse you for any travel costs you may incur whilst volunteering with us.
