Project Manager - Energy Storage - UK

On behalf of a major renewable energy client, WRS are looking for a Senior Energy Storage Project Manager to join their tem in UK on a permanent basis.

As a Senior Consultant for Energy Storage, you will play a key role in managing and delivering energy storage projects while supporting our broader renewables portfolio. You will be responsible for:

Managing utility-scale energy storage projects from development to operation.
Leading Owner's Engineering services, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring technical excellence.
Providing tendering, procurement, and contract negotiation support to clients.
Conducting technical due diligence for lenders, investors, and developers.
Reviewing project designs and specifications to ensure compliance and best practices.
Supporting commissioning and operational performance analysis.
Leading proposal development and contributing to business growth.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our energy storage expertise.

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of experience in energy storage, with a strong understanding of project management and construction principles.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Right to wrok in the UK
Strong technical knowledge of energy storage technologies, market trends, and revenue mechanisms.
Experience in Owner's Engineering, Independent Engineering, or Lender's Technical Advisory roles.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in a consultancy environment is a plus.
Knowledge of software tools like HOMER, Python, or experience with grid connection processes is an advantage.
Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is desirable.
