How We Plant Trees
While we aim to plant a tree for every application, we face certain limitations due to tracking challenges. To ensure we fulfill our promise, we have established the following protocols:
1. Direct Applications
Each time someone applies for a job directly through Ecocareers, we plant a tree.
2. Partner Reports
When our partners share job application data with us, we plant trees based on their reports.
3. Estimated Totals
When full data isn't available, we use estimated averages to ensure trees are still planted.
We are proud to announce our partnership with Trees for the Future, an organization dedicated to improving the livelihoods of impoverished farmers by revitalizing degraded lands through tree planting. Trees for the Future employs an innovative Forest Garden Program that provides farmers with training, seeds, and support to grow sustainable and productive gardens in various locations, including Sub-Saharan Africa, Central America, and South Asia. This not only helps to restore the environment but also ensures food security, income generation, and community resilience.
