We are seeking a commercially driven and result-oriented individual to join our Client Coverage Team to be based in our Laysan Valley office in Riyadh, focusing on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets. As an MSCI Sustainability & Climate Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing a well-thought-out strategy, building and maintaining key relationships with strategic partners and clients, and driving new business development within the region.
Your Key Responsibilities- Strategic Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to expand MSCI Sustainability Research's presence in the KSA and GCC markets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners and clients, including pension funds, asset managers, banks, central banks, and hedge funds.
- Business Development: Drive new business development and increase the usage of MSCI's Sustainability products and services.
- Market Analysis: Understand global and regional trends and their impact on clients and MSCI's solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Client Service, Marketing, Legal, Product Management, and Finance to ensure timely execution of opportunities.
- Pipeline Management: Take full ownership of the sales pipeline and revenue targets.
- Client Satisfaction: Manage senior-level relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel- Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in sales roles, preferably within the financial services or Sustainability sectors, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the economic, cultural, and regulatory landscape of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council region.
- Relationship-Building Skills: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with senior-level clients and strategic partners, and effectively communicate complex concepts.
- Strategic Planning: Skilled in creating and implementing comprehensive sales strategies that align with business goals and market opportunities.
- Sustainability Knowledge: Understanding of environmental, social, and governance factors and how they influence investment strategies and decisions.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and develop solutions.
- Collaborative Approach: Experience working with various internal departments such as Client Service, Marketing, Legal, Product Management, and Finance to ensure seamless execution of sales opportunities.
- Bachelor's Degree Required; MBA or Masters Degree preferred. CFA, FRM, CAIA, MFA a plus
