What you'll bring to the teamQualifications & ExperienceWe are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled
Gardener to join our team at Alton Towers Resort. If you have experience in all aspects of gardening and landscaping, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to be part of a world-renowned theme park!
Key Responsibilities:- Grass cutting and hedge cutting to maintain the Resort's grounds
- Maintaining borders, weeding, and ensuring all areas are tidy and well-presented
- Weed spraying and site clearance tasks
- Supporting with event setups as required
- Collaborating with other teams across the Resort when necessary
- Occasionally working alongside the Arborist team for tree care support
- Taking initiative to manage day-to-day tasks effectively
Working Hours:- Winter Season: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Peak Season: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Late Shifts: Various hours depending on park hours and events (e.g. Scarefest, Fireworks)
- 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Must be available to work weekends throughout the season
Requirements:- Minimum Qualifications - PA1/PA6 and any relevant qualifications within the gardening industry
- Proven experience in gardening and landscaping
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to use initiative to complete daily tasks and address issues independently
- Willingness to assist with event setups and collaborate with other teams
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and late shifts during peak times
