You'll be joining our
Highways maintenance team, as the UK's number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?You'll be part of an expanding team of environmental specialists, driving forward our Ecology function.
You'll act as an in-house consultancy both internally and externally.
You'll provide specialist ecological advice and training to contract/project teams and clients.
We'll support you to you to lead and develop the team how you see fit - do you enjoy leading a team?
Once the team is established, you'll manage other ecologists, providing direction & coaching.
You'll will also get stuck into both the fieldwork and the report writing e.g. bat surveys, Great Crested Newt licensed mitigation and water vole displacements!
What you'll bringValid UK driving licence - do you have one?
Proficient in field surveys including UK Habitat Classification assessment, BNG condition assessment, and protected species surveys
Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away from home for short periods when required
