The role
We support the UK's strategic Submarines programme and major civil nuclear industry projects, namely Small Modular Reactors. We work to ensure the continued safe operation of nuclear assets, support development of new nuclear fission technologies and manage them through the full lifecycle of maintenance and decommissioning activities.
In this role you will work on complex engineering projects to deliver outcomes for these strategic programmes. You will liaise and work with technical experts, operators, designers and the regulator, building strong and enduring working relationships. Your work could be analysing designs of new nuclear technologies, working out if the life of a nuclear asset can be extended, producing a safety case for a nuclear plant and facilities, or managing part of a critical project.
You can expect to spend some time on our clients' sites as we work together to deliver these projects and make a difference to the world.
The successful individuals will receive training, mentoring and coaching to support their development into well-rounded consultants and will be supported to achieve professional accreditations including chartership with one of our , institutions (IMechE, RAeS, IET, RINA & IoP, IChemE).

You will need to have obtained a 2:1 Degree or higher (or equivalent/experience) with a related Engineering or relevant physical sciences bias.
Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.

Step 3: Video Interview - Situation based & technical questions that are related to the important criteria needed to be successful on the role.
Step 4: Explore day - This includes the opportunity to learn about what we do, network with current Graduates and find out about what a career at Frazer-Nash has to offer. You will be asked to complete an interview and presentation/task as part of the day.
Step 5: Decision/Feedback - You will receive feedback even if we do not make the decision to offer you the job or progress you to the next stage.
