Sustainability Product Design Manager Contract: Sustainability Location: Bolton, BL6 6SU Hours of work: 37.5 Contract Type: Permanent The Sustainability Product Design Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and launching sustainability-focused products and services within ISS.
This newly created position offers the opportunity to build processes from the ground up, working across departments to ensure all standardised collateral, commercial materials, and sales documentation are in place ahead of each product launch.
Job Description With sustainability becoming an increasing priority, this role provides high-level exposure to multiple accounts across a large organisation.
You'll liaise with subject matter experts, commercial teams, and operational leads to bring sustainability solutions from concept to deployment-ensuring everything is strategically aligned and ready for execution.
While the operational teams will handle delivery, you will be responsible for orchestrating the development process, working with external agencies, and ensuring seamless integration across ISS.

Key Responsibilities - Develop an insight-driven catalogue of market-ready products and services
- Oversee product evolution to maintain market relevance and profitability
- Manage the full product lifecycle from concept to deployment
- Ensure all products have necessary collateral, including playbooks, SOPs, templates, and marketing materials
- Maintain the Product & Service SharePoint pages and supporting case studies
- Provide guidance to design teams and external agencies for product development
- Support bid solutioning with new and existing products to meet customer needs
- Ensure innovations are scalable, tested, and included in the product portfolio
- Work with Data Governance and IT teams to ensure systems support product delivery and data collection
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications - Strong sustainability experience and knowledge
- FM background
- Strong communicator
- Ideally have experience designing relevant sustainability products previously - know the end to end process
