1. You must clearly demonstrate on your application form under each question, how, and to what extent you meet the required criteria as failure to do so may result in you not being shortlisted. You should clearly demonstrate this for both the essential and desirable criteria, where relevant.

Section 1 - Essential Criteria

Experience
hold a bachelor's degree (UK Qualification and Credit Framework Level 6) or an equivalent or higher qualification and four years' experience of providing specialist advice and support to senior managers on a range of complex carbon and energy management issues;

Have seven years' experience of providing specialist advice and support to senior managers on a range of complex carbon and energy management issues.

Experience/ Knowledge Provide evidence of knowledge and experience on each of the following:
a. Developing and delivering successful funding bids in relation to energy management within a challenging timeframe.
b. Developing and implementing Greenhouse Gas emissions reduction strategies.
c. Implementing energy efficiency technologies and renewable energy systems to include Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS).
d. Financial/Investment models including Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPAs).
e. Staff management including HR issues.
Demonstrable experience of regularly and directly supporting and advising Senior management on complex operational issues and planning responses to strategic priorities, including statutory and legislative requirements.
Demonstrable knowledge of the current and anticipated challenges related to the role.
