The RoleAs our
Sustainability Manager, you will play a key role in driving our sustainability strategy, working with clients and suppliers to improve environmental performance and decision-making. Reporting to the Procurement & Sustainability Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting clients in making informed, sustainable buying decisions
- Leading emissions reporting, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 calculations
- Managing supplier sustainability assessments using Ecovadis and other key frameworks
- Developing and implementing strategies to reduce carbon emissions and supply chain impact
- Ensuring compliance with our SBTi and UN Global Compact commitments
- Collaborating with teams to integrate sustainability into sourcing strategies
- Engaging with industry partners, staying ahead of best practices, and inspiring change
- Enhancing data quality and reporting to improve environmental decision making
- Building strategic collaborations with forward-thinking food businesses and producers
- Make a tangible impact on the UK foodservice supply chain
- Work with a forward-thinking team committed to promoting real change
The CandidateEssential Requirements - A passion for sustainability
- A degree, preferably in environmental science, ecology or related scientific field
- Understand how to make agriculture and food systems more sustainable
- A strong desire to work towards our sustainable objectives and educate
- Have excellent analytical, mathematical and writing skills
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude
- Be solution orientated and have a proactive approach to problem solving
- Be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Be able to self-motivate and work with limited micro/hands-on day-to-day management.

Desirable Requirements- Open to learning and displaying a growth mindset
- Have strong computer skills, including advanced Word, PowerPoint and Excel

The ContractHours: Full-time, permanent: 37 hours per week. Monday to Friday 08:45 - 17:15 (with an early finish on Friday at 16:15). Standard hours are Monday to Friday 08:45 - 17:15 (with an early finish on Fridays at 16:15).
Salary: Salary Package of up to £40,000 per annum DOE.
