I am currently working with a multinational retailer who have started their seach for a Sustainability Manager. You will be leading the team to ensure they deliver on their sustainability goals.
To begin with your aim will be to deliver environmental initiatives and also have control of the whole sustainability plan, taking action across the organisation.
This role provides an opportunity to really make an impact and to help set environmental and social considerations into the companies decisions moving forward.
Key responsabilities: - Lead the execution of the companies sustainability strategy
- Find solutions to sustainability challenges (reduction of waste and supply chain engagement)
- Take lead on delivery of environmental commitments
- Lead on Internal and external sustainability reporting
- Develop the ESG strategy with key stakeholders
- TCFD
- Science Based Target initiatives
Experience: - Proven experience in sustainability, ESG, or environmental management within retail or FMCG
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Strong knowledge of sustainable supply chains, waste reduction, and reporting
- Strong knowledge and passion for sustainability
- Strong communications skills
- Strong written skills
