Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recycling Operative to join a well-established organisation with multiple sites across North Wales. The successful candidate will play a key role in the collection, sorting, and recycling of materials, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. In the Recycling Operative role, you will be responsible for:
- The separation and recycling of various waste types and helping with the reduction of disposal to Landfills
- Keeping the sites clean and tidy
- Assisting members of the general public to recycle their waste
To be successful in the Recycling Operative role you will need:
- A good work ethic, physically fit due to the nature of the role and happy to work outdoors
- Strong customer service and communication skills and be self-motivated
- Your own steel toe cap safety boots and waterproofs (other PPE will be provided)
- Full UK driving licence due to the nature of the role and possible requirement to work across multiple sites.
This full-time, temporary role is Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:00, paying £11.44 per hour plus holiday pay. The position is based at one of the organisation's sites near Mochdre, Abergele, Rhyl, or Ruthin. A personal vehicle and flexibility with location are required. The role starts Monday, 4th March, and candidates must be available to start on this date.
