TARRC are now offering the exciting opportunity for an apprenticeship in their Physical Testing laboratory, on a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship.
The Package
Starting salary of £19,000 per year
26 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
35 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 7:30AM - 3:00PM
Regular training and CPD opportunities
In the Physical Testing lab, you’ll be responsibility for providing a materials testing service for Rubber Consultants – this mean working with manufactured materials and products, to understand how they function and perform under different conditions.
Responsibilities will include:
Prepare and test samples to national and international standards or to client specifications.
Assist in calibration and performance verification testing.
Maintain laboratory records both soft and hard forms of test data and the associated reports.
Prepare test reports from the raw data.
Assist with the preparation of quotes for new business opportunities.
General housekeeping duties about the laboratory
