Business Analyst - Smart Metering
Glasgow - Hybrid 3 days onsite
6-month contract - up to £400 a day Inside IR35
As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a Business Analyst, with good knowledge & experience with Smart metering (either from a DNO or retail perspective), with advanced level Microsoft suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), multi-tasking, and communications skills, to join our team in Glasgow.

- Functional requirements gathering and process definition/refinement activities
- Reporting
- Aspects of Systems and Infrastructure support/monitoring
- Aspects of Supplier engagement & management
- Aspects of release management
What you'll need:
Requirements
- Hybrid role requiring an average of 2-3 days onsite per week
- Smart metering subject matter expertise is essential (experience in the following areas would be of benefit: DCC, DNOs, DUIS, SMKI, DCCKI and SEC)
- Renewables experience
- Experience in Stakeholders management
- IT background / Utilities Sector experience preferred
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to demonstrate problem solving skills
- SQL skills
- Data analysis
Where you'll be:
This role will involve a mixture of working from our client's premises (Glasgow), working from home or at our Central Glasgow offices. This is a client driven role, so the expectation will be for you to be onsite on average 3 days per week or when requested.
